Hi Everybody! I am so excited about this show! I have been wanting to get booked to play at The Frethouse for a long, long time!---for a couple of reasons. Ever since I first played there at an open mic back in the early '90's, I have thought, "what a great listening room this is!" Some musical artists just prefer a "listening room" setting, strictly for a "listening audience", to be able to share their musical "gifts" in the fullest sense of the word and to be sure that their audience will receive them without distraction. I am definitely one of those, which is why I always prefer performing at house concerts and these kinds of venues, over bars and coffee houses. Another reason is: I LOVE that place! I bought TWO of my favorite guitars there (my Taylor and my electric) and go there to get them re-strung (cause they do it so well!) Tom (the owner) is awesome and is always so helpful and knows everything about guitars! ♥ So I have always hoped I would have the opportunity to perform there. Well, thanks to my friend and awesome singer/performer, Corrina Carter, who invited me to share this date with her, I am so pleased to announce that I will be playing there on Saturday, March 30th, 2019, at 8 p.m. Corrina will be playing a full set and I will do a full set, (not sure in what order yet), and then we will close the show with a few songs we will do together! I heard Corrina sing and play for the first time about a year ago and was so impressed with her gentle yet steady touch of her guitar and her warm, smooth voice, bringing to life all of the characters and stories in the songs she plays. So it will be a real treat to share the stage and this show with her, for sure! So please plan to come and join us! I will be selecting songs to play from both my albums, some from earlier times that I haven't even recorded yet, and some that will be on my next album(s) that I am currently working on. (Ah, so much music, so little time!) :) Anyway, I really, really hope to see you all there!
